Jenaer Glas has been one of the great names in high-quality homewares since 1918.

The company is known not for crystal but for borosilicate glass, which is:

Heat -resistant up to 450° C
Suitable for microwave ovens
Dishwasher safe
Non-porous
refrigerator safe to -35° C

The teapot above was designed in the early 1930s by trailblazing German industrial designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld. He also invented the egg codder, below. Both are parts of the collection that bears his name. Click here to see it all.
